Women-Led, Change Driven
ASVIOL Support Initiative is a women-led organization dedicated to equipping communities and individuals with innovative solutions to prevent and end sexual and Gender based violence.
Through research, policy advocacy, and community-driven initiatives, we strive to prevent and challenge SGBV

Curriculum Development
Designing educational programs and resources that tackle the root causes of sexual and gender based violence

SGBV Prevention and Sensitization
- 20,000+ people reached through community sensitization, radio and public education on sexual and gender-based violence.
- 182 community members engaged, including men, women, persons living with disabilities, and community leaders around SGBV prevention.
- 1 community guideline developed and adopted, resulting in bans on harmful practices, and enforcement aligned with national and international law.
Social Norm Change
- 15 Mai Shayi trained, leading to a 90% increase in SGBV knowledge and in men’s public commitments to challenge violence in everyday spaces.
- 50 Tudun Biri men engaged and sensitized as SGBV allies
- Creation of visible male role models against SGBV in suburban Abuja communities
Youth Advocacy Training
- 10 young changemakers equipped with advocacy skills addressing SGBV prevention.
- Growing network of young advocates actively working on SGBV prevention.
- 10 youth-led community projects designed and implemented to advocate for SGBV Prevention.
Women’s economic empowerment
- 50 women empowered economically through climate-smart agriculture training reducing financial dependence that often traps women in violent or exploitative situations.
- ₦450,000 collectively saved through cooperative structures, increasing women’s financial resilience and decision-making power.
- ₦150,000+ earned in a single market day at the Kasuwan Noma Expo, creating direct market access.
